Within the “2050 Energy Roadmap” initiative, The European Union is faced with the difficult task of cutting down with up to 60% of the carbon dioxide it used to produce in the year 1990, by 2050. At “Solarpro Holding” we are working hard in order to provide a completely innovative environmental solution for the use of photovoltaics power, EV charging stations and a system for energy storage. The direct integration of a complete system (consisting of renewable energy, an additional user in the form of charging stations and an energy storage system that regulates the energy flows) to the DC networks will lead to significant carbon savings on the one hand and on the other they will greatly improve the performance of DC networks.



A direct link between PV systems and the public transport energy networks (without the use of inverters) that will provide a portion of the energy demanded by public transport vehicles such as trolley, trams or electric busses.

EV charging stations are linked directly with the already established DC networks in order to further utilise the city’s electrical infrastructure while cutting down the costs of installing new charging stations that would otherwise require infrastructure adaptations in order to reach their nominal power output.

Energy storage systems are also directly linked with DC networks and use technology that enables them to quickly charge and discharge with high power, but also long lifetime and many charging cycles.

Smart systems are used to monitor and manage the energy systems at all times.

  • The photovoltaic system provides some of the electricity needed to charge the vehicles, the rest is supplied by the conventional distribution network.
