Today, a transaction was executed for the sale of the photovoltaic park of Solarpro Holding AD in the town of Malko Tarnovo. The investor under the project is the Bulgarian company United Solar AD, having foreign participation. The entire amount of the investment to be utilized under the project is EUR 8 million. In addition to the power station’s construction, upon completion of the park, Solarpro Holding AD is to be responsible for its operation and maintenance.
The power station located in Malko Tarnovo is undergoing a process of construction and is to be completed and integrated with the power grid by the year’s end. The terrain, on which the park is being built is 112 decares, and the capacity planned is 2.4 MWp (Megawatt picks). The photovoltaic park in question is being constructed on a recultivated industrial terrain, where observing the Company’s policy to preserve any agricultural land and protected territories.
The Malko Tarnovo Project is the Company’s second photovoltaic park. The first one is located in the village of Yankovo, Shumen District, where Solarpro Holding has built up the largest photovoltaic park in Bulgaria, having a nominal power of 2.4 МWp (Megawatt picks). It has been successfully integrated with the Е.ON.’s electricity grid and it has been fully functioning at full power since February 2010. A third project is being built by Solarpro Holding for another investor: a photovoltaic park in Devnya, having a total project capacity of 4.8 МWp (Megawatt picks). As of the moment, the construction’s first phase has already been completed in the park in Devnya: 0.55 MWp have been installed, duly integrated with the grid and generating electicity.
Solarpro Holding closes the entire cycle in the field of solar energy – from the production of laser equipment and solar panels components, through the production of the solar panels themselves, to the construction and the maintenance of solar parks. Solarpro Holding’s strategy is to establish itself as one of the most significant contractors in Bulgaria and the neighbouring counties in terms of engineering, delivery and construction  (EPC contractor), and of operation & maintenance (O&M contractor) for solar parks.
Solarpro Holding is a leading company in the photovoltaic industry, which currently holds more than half of the overall capacity installed in Bulgaria, amounting to around 5 МWp (Megawatt picks). At the beginning of the month of June, the shares of Solarpro Holding AD (0S8, www.solarpro.bg>> ) were officially introduced for trading at Bulgarian Stock Exchange - Sofia AD. The stock exchange code consigned is 0S8, where the first letter of the exchange code in question is read as a digit.
